SUMMARY:Northern Rivers Younger Onset Dementia Carer Support Group - 1st Friday of each month 10am-12noon
DESCRIPTION:The Northern Rivers Younger Onset Dementia Support Group began in November 2023! Our mission is to offer support\, resources\, and a sense of community to individuals and families affected by younger onset dementia. We meet monthly on the first Friday of each month 10-12noon at Summerland Farm\, Alstonville\, NSW 2478. Be sure to check our events page for any other events. In addition to our regular meetings\, we are committed to organising more activities based on funding and the needs of carers. We’ve organized free lunches and brewery tours\, bringing together families\, NDIS carers\, and people living with younger onset dementia. Plus\, there are more exciting events on the way! We regularly feature guest speakers who provide valuable insights and practical advice to help navigate the dementia journey. We are passionate about fostering a caring and supportive environment for everyone involved. What else do we do?
